I have a Darkvoice 337 but have not heard the DT880's. The DT880s and the Darkvoice 337 are said to be the dream team. DV 337s can run up to $650 on ebay ($100 shipping included in that). I got mine on the FS forums for $600 with aftermarket power cables and a few different sets of tubes, one set being collectors. Maybe you can find such a deal somewhere here, but I highly recommend it. I think your onboard DAC should work but DO NOT use the headphone out, use the line out if there is one. You'll need an RCA Stereo (red and white cables) to 3.5mm headphone jack cord to connect them, can be found on the cheap at Radioshack. If no line out, get a FiiO E7 for around $100 usd on ebay and get the L7 connector tog et a usb to line out from it. That's my setup.

Someone had a Little Dot MKIV Se up for sale in the for sale forum at a reasonable price. It also works well with the 880's in you are going tube.

Just FYI to the two posters above me, this thread is nearly 3 years old.  Probably best to just let it rest in peace until/unless the OP resurfaces.

No, not really. You just happen to be caught in a time warp. It's actually 2008. Sorry for those three years you imagined.
