Theres loads of HD414s about, no need to bring that back.

Stax SR-5N/Gamma/etc type phone, except stick the 001 portable plug on it.

ESS AMT, because the prices on ebay are bonkers stupid for what it is.

Float Electrostat, except this time, done right.

Better than this talk of ressurection. Get the players in the current market to realise that their hard-ons for moving-coil drivers are a silly fetishistic pursuit and that there really is a market for isodynamic/orthodynamics out there.

Come on guys, this guy is Senn USA's product manager! You should all be voting for the Orpheus to convince them to put it back into production!!!

Pah, I still wouldn't be able to buy one.

On the other hand.... I think Sennheiser could probably make a damn nice orthodynamic if it put it's mind to it. Hint hint

I'd rather they do away with the portable plug than to degrade the SR-5 like that <__<

The Yamaha HP-1, from 1977. I still have a pair but no longer in prime condition. And the Sony MDR-V5. Something about those..

None. Something new from Sennheiser. Like a hybrid stat/dynamic, somewhere in the price of $799-$899 or less.
