I hate using double flange ear buds and foamies don't do it for me either, and i don't really want to pay ou $149 for the 'custom fit sleeve'. Does anyone know if there are any suitable alternatives?

i found that if i use the dead foamies and strip the foam away, they can be used as fat stalks to apply silicon tips such as panasonic or audio technica tips for their armature driver series - great stage and a decent treble.
i still find the dual flange to be the best for sound but... such a waste of time as they move so much and come undone all the time

I use comply's t100 tips. A lot comfortable than any other silicon or foam tips & quiet durable.
