I don't wash the plastic sealed and pinned down dress shirts before wearing them, they just lose their crispness like that, everything else I wash, especially bed sheets.

Ah well, you live and learn. The human body is very resilient .

Make sure you have them change the sheets on your hotel room too, when you arrive. Many times the beds are re-maid with the same sheets on. There's the odd hair, scabies mite, and former occupants perspiration.

For hotel travels, I've seem specialty shops selling very light weight pillow and comforter covers and lightweight sheets that will offer additional barriers between mites and your body.

O dear :\ I'll remember to wash my sheets

I just bought a pair of sandals, I don't think that needs any washing eh?

And if your washing machine has a "sanitary cycle" that raises the water above 140 degrees (F) or higher, that'll keep the microorganisms and whatnot from holding on to come back another day!
