FS: Balanced B22 {PRICE DROP}

Up for sale is my Balanced B22, which I bought about a month ago from Dreadhead.

This amp is in impeccable condition. I was built by Fiercefreak from Head-Fi.
110V version.
The amp is balanced only with a gain of 4.
It is possible to build an adapter cable that allows you to run 2 similar headphones with 2 Beta 22 boards each. Doing so would result in a gain of 2.
The amp comes with silver replacement knobs. (not in picture)

Note to self (technical details coming from previous posts) :

- 1 Sigma22 PSU with a 100VA toroid in a separated box.
- caps are Nichicon Muse
- C1-C5 on each amplifier board are Silver Mica
- 24-steps ladder volume control with precision resistors

-1 Sigma 22 PSU, My guess is that to make this ready for the 220V world would require changing the transformer, which would be about $50.
However, you should ask someone in the DIY part of this forum, they'll give you a solid answer.

-There is no speaker output, & only one Sigma 22. However this amp's price is less than the cost of parts, & there is room in the case so it is very possible to improve upon.

-"Up for sale is a Fierce_Freak built balanced Beta 22. It is a [double] box unit. There is no single-ended input or output. The gain of the amp is 4. It's 4-board balanced with one Sigma22 (100VA transformer). All parts are on amb's recommended list of parts except for all electrolytics caps are Nichicon Muse and C1-C5 on each amplifier board are Silver Mica. The volume control is two 24-step stepped attenuators, ladder type with precision resistors."

-I would agree to sell the Zu Mobius cable alongside it for $280 + shipping.
Since it can easily be tucked in the box alongside the Beta 22 you don't have to pay shipping on this item.

This is likely a very easy and simple change that will require nothing more than cutting a pair of wires and twisting them together (assuming the transformer used is the "default" one).

EDIT: That is a beautiful amp, I'll likely be building one soon and that price will barely cover parts cost for something that nice.
