Comply tips og shure olives for Triplefi10?

Hi!
Have anyone tried both of those tips for the Triplefi? Wich are the most comftable?

I tried both and found the Comply to be the most comfortable but the black olives to isolate the best and last longer. SQ wise I could not tell a difference.

I tried both -olives win for durability & seal. Comply T400 were just a tad too small for my canals, but I'm going to try a T500 sometime just to check (+plus they are intended for easy removal on TF, unlike 400)...SQ? Both seemed to dull treble a little bit & increase bass. Olives are pleasingly easy to keep clean and I use them on my ER-4.
Triple Fi I use other Shure tips or UE's own.

Stevie: I'm told those T500 are even smaller than the 400. Don't know, but that's what I told

yup I found the T500s small tips to be smaller than T400 small tips

I'm using the stock grey foams on my HF5, and I doubt I'll buy any Shure black foams for them. I like them a lot, but the sizes are not optimal.

The medium is just a bit too small. They don't give me a foolproof seal, and some movements, yawning or my ears popping from pressure differentials can cause the seal to break.

But the large are WAY too big. =/

The stock grey foams are ugly sure, and they pick up earwax fast, and don't last very long, and aren't really washable... but they're cheap... and they give an absolutely foolproof seal.

I wish Shure made the medium olives just a tad bigger.

I never tried the comply with the triples when I had them; but I do use comply with my SE530 instead of the black olives. I find the olives muddy the bass just a little and therefor make the midrange recessed also. they are easier to clean, more durable and slightly better isolating, but all in all I didn't like them; so i use comply exclusively with my shures. the comply are more comfy and control the bass much better. if you clean them with a damp cloth every few days as well as keeping your ears free from build-up they last ages. I'm still going on a bag of 3 pairs from months and months ago, with still a while to go yet they're evn clean enough to leave on if i'm photographing my rig the short comply fit my canals perfectly and maintain a good seal even through eating and all the things that the olives never did.

You can clean Comply foams?

I thought they were too porous to wipe down, and earwax would get clogged up in the foam cells... the Shure black foams have a very smooth surface, which made them easy to wipe off.

yep no problem cleaning comply foams here

in this photo these foams are at least 4 weeks in use; they are SEMI porous, but as long as the cloth is just damp then you wont have any issues. the wax is just a thin bit on top anyway it doesn't penetrate into the foam. well at least the level of wax I have doesn't anyway



it just has to be a damp cloth (not wet) with luke warm water and then let them dry before using them. thats it... no problem whatsoever

When I looked at the shure foams at the apple store they looked like they were designed to fit headphones much smaller than the triple.fi 10s so I got nervous and didn't buy them. I use comply's now but they fall apart so fast on me then I want to experiment with some other options... are these the right ones that I would get for triple fis?

Exactly!

However, you have to remove the plastic tips from the Shure because they are too small for the TF10 tips. Just do remove it gently and they won't break (actually, they will be misshaped but return back toi their shapes with time).

Also, one of your stock tips from the TF10 (foams? I don't remember) will come with the right plastic tips size. Just put the Shures into the plastic tips and you will. I hope I was clear enough...
