DAP with best headphone out? - Page 2

The E10 uses a smaller microdrive as opposed to the 1.8" HDD formats used in the iRiver Hxx0, Karma and others (It uses a 1.0" HDD IIRC).

As far as I know, there's no connector out there yhat allows for the connection of a 1.0" HDD with a CF card, and given the size of the E10 (In particular, its width and thickness) and the probable size of the connector and a CF card, its not feasible either.

The best they can do is a connector for an external MicroSD/MicroSDHC card to replace the HDD, since I think that even a Mini SD might be stretching it.

I thought all Microdrives were IBM's property, and on the CF-II form factor.

This is becoming a problem.

I'd like to know if there's a player with a decent headphone out, or even better; a line out, AND plain and simple mass storage support, so I can drag'n'drop files in Windows Explorer or any other file manager.

I'm allergic to iTunes, you see.

Players w/ built in L/O:
iRiver Hxx0 series.
Cowon A2 or A3 (O prefer the A2 given its better battery life).

Players with good HP/O have been mentioned in the other sections of this thread.
