Provantage is not an advantage. - Page 3

Good to hear this about Provantage. My experience in the past ordering computer parts was always positive.

Yea, they are a warehouse. I google mapped them and this is the exterior of their building. No signs, no address that I could find, but this is google maps after all. But this should give you a clearn picture of what we're dealing with.

My experience with them is not so great, although the price I got for my item was.

It's been two week since since I ordered my item and I still don't have it. I first, sent an email about a week after I purchased it, and heard nothing back from them. I then, called them and spoke with a provantage personnel and he stated that the item was to be shipped out by 12/20/11. Here it is, the 22nd of the month and still haven't heard anything.

I called yesterday, and there was no answer after waiting on the phone for over 20 minutes!

I wrote yet another email today, and have yet to hear back.

This was my item that I purchased on 12/09/2011:

Order Status: IN PROGRESS

The supplier has not provided us with a firm shipping date. (why exactly would they sell an item and have you wait 2 weeks for it, then not provide you the shipping date when they said they would on the 20th?)

Note: Your order has been forwarded to a regional warehouse for processing. We will issue an invoice once we have confirmation.

Great price, right? Well if I don't get it shipped, the price doesn't matter much.

As you can see, this is the exact item from the status page, and although it is a great price, I haven't heard anything, nor had any contact from them at all even though they said it would ship out on the 20th.

If I don't hear anything back from them, I will be canceling my order, reporting them to the BBB and contacting the FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection.

I hope it won't come to this because this was a present, but it seems that their customer service is absolutely horrible. This is the first time buying through them, and as I'm sure anyone can imagine, I will not be a returning customer.

I wanted to re-post this picture so we can get a clearer picture of whom we're dealing with. So heads up with dealing with Provantage; clearly there's nothing pro about it. I hope my opinion of them changes and they can make up for their shoddy service, but for now, it stands.

Anyone else have similar problems with Provantage?
