The Sophia Princess Mesh Plate is the same no matter who you buy it from. I have always preferred the GZ34 metal base over everything, though some other old GZ34's are very good. Now the Princess has her subjects below her. :^)

I would say your observation is accurate; Woo is making additional profit on this tube. I am certain a 274B Princess is a 274B Princess - no difference.

breakfastchef, Beautiful amp and nice pics, thanks for sharing! I was lucky to audition it at canjam, I was truely impressed, Jack makes great amps … I’m jealous but luckily still very happy with my wa6

PM me if you want to do a micro-mini meet. I am still rather new to Head-Fi, but I think I have chosen my equipment wisely as in it should provide me with years of reliable service for a very long time. I am in Palm Beach County.

It's $1050 on the products page, but if you click on the WA6 SE amp page and add to cart it's still $950 + $45 shipping. ACT FAST if you want this amp.

I see he also adjusted the price of the 274B now to reflect the 30-day warranty. The previous price listed of $190 is for the 1-year warranty.

I would hope the SE is better sounding than the plain 6 but these amps already sound so good. My 3 with the right tubes is headphone heaven. Would live to hear what twice as much money buys you.
