Telephone blinker?

Hey all!

I work in an office, as do many others. I'm permitted to listen to my headphones while working, but I can't hear my telephone ring. So, the expectation is to listen at a volume low enough to hear the phone.

That's a problem.... I use IEM's with tons 'o isolation, and don't want to switch to different gear.

So, is there a device (I'm thinking of a bright blinky light) that will hook up to standard office phone and 'light up' when it rings?

There's gotta be -- thought I saw a red police siren thing at Radio Shack once upon a time, but I'm looking for something a lot more discrete. Some tasteful piece of gear that will not distract TOO much from the standard office cubicle.

Ideas? Links? I"ll look at some hearing-impaired sites, but something tells me these items will be mucho $$$...

BADGER BASKET CO. | SAFETY ITEMS

I know it is not exactly designed for your use but it would work!

Well, the first question is: what is your definition of a standard office phone? Is it a digital or analog system? Is it a PBX with trunk lines or do you have direct access to specific outside lines?

Our "standard office" phone is a regular Sony Ericsson cellular.
I just turn on vibration and put it in my pocket. Problem solved...

PBX? Trunk lines? It's an white AT&T 350. It has it's own number, as in there's no operator or switchboard. Every phone in the office has its own number. A caller just dials my number and my phone rings. It has two standard phone jacks on the back, one for 'phone', one for 'data'.

I DO have to dial '9' before dialing a number.
