SOLD: MHDT Paradisea+ (USB Version)

Up for sale is my paradisea+. It was bought second hand from Svperstar who I believe only had it for 3 or so months before he had to let go of it and now I too must do the same. I bought around late december/early january this year. It is still in great condition, in mostly the same condition it was received in. There is, however, a scratch on the front faceplate which you can see in the pics provided (i'll try to get them up later). It's fairly inconspicuous unless light is shining directly on it, since the entire case is black acrylic and the scratch sort of "blends in" with all of the components seen inside; regardless though, you can judge it for yourself from the pics. Internally, everything is flawless.

The reason why I'm selling is because I want to upgrade to a fully balanced dac, which is the only thing I'm looking to trade for (I'll add cash if appropriate). If not, I'll let this go for $470 + shipping via paypal.

Also, if at all possible, I'd like to do this transaction via a paypal echeque, which is basically a check sent over paypal that I would wait to clear before shipping out. The reason for wanting to use this is that it voids paypal fees and does not count as a paypal cc payment, of which I can only accept 2 this year without upgrading my account. If you can't wait, paypal cc is fine too, just add on the fee. This is open to CONUS only.

EDIT: This is the USB version. same as this one TDA1545A Non-OS USB TUBE DAC -- Paradisea+ - eBay (item 120275015450 end time Jun-23-08 06:28:37 PDT)

Pics 308med/paradisea - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Pictures 026 and 027 show the scratch with light shining directly off of it. 026 is a close up and 027 is the same view zoomed out so you can see "blending in" thing I was talking about.

Another Edit: If anyone has a Cambridge 840c they are looking to trade or sell, drop me line via pm

Yet another edit: I forgot mention the paradisea comes with an extra tube.

*bump*

Just picked up the non-usb version about three weeks ago here at Head-fi for 400 bucks.

Sort of wish I'd waited a few weeks as I prefer the LM4562 option and also the USB capability of this Pardisea+ version.

Oh well.

Anyway ...

This is an amazing DAC.

480 bucks for a solid 600 dollar tube DAC.

I'm tempted to put my own non USB Pardisea up for sale in order to get this but I'm going to hold off if able.

Hope it goes through.

Can't believe it's been here this long.

I'm not sure folks are aware of just how sweet these DACs sound.

Good luck with the sell.

Thanks sirrah; I found a local headfier who is willing to meet up and buy the dac, which is especially awesome since shipping and paypal costs are negated.
