I am NOT surprised that this place has not been mentioned in any thread ever, not this one or any other here...

Seems I am one of the only HIP HOP & RAP fans here on this huge forum

These are some great links. I have been looking for a nice list like this to build up my music library.

X2.

I've been using this for some time now. It's nice to have a surprise waiting for me once a month when I get home.

Wow, no one has mentioned 7digital??? It's basically iTunes with better browsing and 320kbps MP3/AAC downloads. I also love the "locker" where you can re-download any of the tracks you've previously purchased from them... definitely good for peace of mind.

I bookmark in Amazon but buy from ArkivMusic. Amazon almost always charges full retail for their CDs/SACDs and out of pique I refuse to buy music from them.

How about BMG?
They supposedly give 12 cd's for signing up, after you buy one. But I have heard bad things about their quality. Is there anything to that, or just flab.
And is yourmusic.com reputable? Good quality and everything?

yourmusic.com is awesome. It is exactly what they say. No shipping, no fees, no hidden costs. The selection is so-so but I am building the hell out of my classical collection.
