Just curious why the Denon 700/751s or the 551s haven't been included either in the OP reviews or the discussion in this thread. They seem to have generally favorable comments elsewhere here, particularly the 551s for SQ to value at their price point. Is it just an omission? Any thoughts on where they fit in the OP rankings?

After lurking here gathering info, the Denons are on my buying short list, yet their omission here concerns me. Thanks. This place is a great source of info.

As mentioned, over in Singapore prob the only places u can find them are either Bluetin.com or Farle. btw, you can audition the denons at SLS. I did audition quite some time ago, if my memory serves me right, I found the bass to be way too much for my liking. It was pretty tight but still overbearing for my taste. YMMV

It is plentiful. I have to notch the EQ down a bit to some semblance of normal bass.

The lack of mention in the entire thread commentary, even if just to note the omission, was conspicuous since they get mentioned with some frequency in recommendation threads at their price points.

Btw ClieOS, the Sleeks are no longer $250.
