No, seriously. This helps us a lot to have other eyes out there. We are few in number and have precious little time to devote to these kinds of things that can be more easily spotted by someone who knows all of the ins and outs of the situation.

I deleted a couple of posts in the Qualia 010 for sale thread, simply to be consistent with our 'no discussion' rule, but it's definitely a good thing that you're keeping us informed about this guy.

Thanks for the kind words Wmcmanus. Just trying to do the right thing here. Integrity is very important to me, and I will definitely stay on top of this guy as long as it takes. He's had this coming for awhile. What goes around really does come around.

I may have to make the drive down for the next Florida meet. Treat to you a White Russian as well.

asking if he had any feedback, he kindly gave me his "lobster_king" audiogon username. despite seeing nearly 30 points of positive feedback, I was not going to drop $1465 that easily - and I was almost ready to, given his pleas of how "bad the economy is right now," and how it was hurting him.

anyone who puts in even this little amount of work (5 minutes on google) will see he has had dozens of headphone listings on multiple enthusiast forums, an obvious flipper, who I quickly realized was trying to take me for a ride. it wasnt until today that I now get a reference I read on headcase, which in a for-sale thread stated, "hope you didnt ship this item to Berkley"
You were wise El_Doug. He knows we are on to him here to the point that he's not even going to try spending time to build up 75 posts with another identity again, in order to place listings in the for sale forum. He will just continue to try and sell via PM, which is clearly against the rules we all know he doesn't care about.

The more people that know the better. We will eventually wear him out and he will crawl back to his cave.

Just a heads up, another account + email combination to add to the list, this guy is everywhere.
Came across this post, pretty sure that is him as well.

The usual signs are there, but let's not tell him what they are since apparently he is too dumb to figure out he is leaving behind his trademark in every FS ad.

Good eyes tk3! That's him for sure. Unfortunately he's already moved that pair of headphones.

Yes we will definitely keep his trademark a secret.

2 years and going! That is truly sad that he won't give up.

DoYouRight, what's with all the digging up dead threads you've been up to lately?

This guy was selling some headphones on ebay and I almost bought them and did a search and it was the same guy here.

Then post that warning - better to make it informative than a simple bump.

He still uses the same accounts on ebay/audiogon.
I suspect he is still PMing people here to buy stuff at a low price though, and then flip them at other sites, since he can't really unload his crap here anymore.

It's curious how he has some of the newer items for sale though, like the Senn HD800, and awhile back, the TTVJ 307A.
His price is actually pretty good, which makes you wonder how he got it, what he paid for it, and why he's selling.

^^ that's what i wonder. how/where does he get all this stuff. i believe he had an HD800 for sale the week it came out. but how much cheaper than $1400 could he have gotten it for.

What a shame!
