It says that the K400 was relesed in 1991. Im curious if the K400/500/701/2 series started when harman bought out AKG, because that seems like it was a real departure in their house sound signature. Before these models, they had models like the K340 and K240, which are both rich, natural, neutral (not words i would use to describe the K400 etc series)
