Had mine done using HD800 connectors.  Posted here.  But the HD800 male/female connectors combined length was kinda long and they kept rubbing my shoulders.  So converted back using spared HD800 stock cable (hardwired).  D7K stock cable is pretty bad...

What dac/amp do you drive d7000? I am using burson 160D. I am not sure whether I have explored d7000 potential.

As I type this... Audiolab M-DAC
But my Benchmark DAC1-PRE was great with them, as is my Luxman amp... and even my DX90 DAP.

Oh... and my Audio-gd DAC really puts a wonderful punch to them.

Mostly a Pioneer PDR-609 CD player feeding a Pioneer Spec 1 & 2 vintage combo. Or same amp combo fed by my Pioneer turntable and when I go digital it's an iPhone 5 going into a NuForce iDO DAC which actually is really a nice unit for iDevices.

This headphones is not a power angry or amp picky one. I would say LA mod will bring you more than a expensive setup.

This sucker attached with "Realiser A8" left my home theatre 5.1 speakers out in the cold for a long time, as well as my HD800 and LCD-3, which are collecting a lot of dusts because of it.

Any suggestion for a good place to fix it.

Thanks.

Fixed, and lying bravely beside it the D2000 as a part donor (thank you :o ). Now my d7000 is back and the fun time starts again :)

Hey everyone, I got a tip that someone may have a partially broken D2000 here that they may want to sell. I am looking for one to use for cup test-fitting, so the drivers can be blown, the headband can be total crap, I dont care. If you have one with the frame in-tact and drivers present (working or not), PLEASE message me with your price.

Thanks!
