Oh, it didn't come with speakers or turntable...I feel better now!

You keep your wife in their too? I have tried keeping my wife in the basement but she sneaks out when I'm not looking.

That's a great deal on a beautiful setup!

Also, I have a somewhat similar picture of my listening room.

Ah, the good life! :normal_smile :

Haha, that's great.

I might be departing from my D7k's if, once I attain a pair, the TH900's provide a substantial upgrade.  I absolutely love my D7k's but if they can be improved upon, while maintaining the same signature, I'm down as all hell.

Too right.

I was playing around with my D7K's this afternoon for the first time in quite a while. Started on the ZD and was whelmed. Then moved to the v200 ... meh, not bad.

Then I plugged them into a 'lowly' Pioneer 980 and remembered why these cans will never leave me. They just come alive on old iron.

Curiously, the TH900 still leaves behind a place for the D7000?

Personally (just me), th900 is bit over priced. In fact I think all the top tier headphones are.

One thing I really hate is the useless headphone stand. They should just skip that to reduce the price.

If you want to buy you should wait because yen is weaker.

I heard 2014 May batch will be more wallet friendly.

Wait until summer for the price drop wink.gif

I have to agree.  Side by side with my D7000 my 52 year old ears cannot tell much difference.  I got my TH900 by selling a D5000 and Edition 8 and using the proceeds to buy them, as I was very curious to the delta vs the D7000.  I'm still glad I did it as I had no need for either can I moved to get these.  They are gorgeous, they sound amazing and they are uber comfy.................but so are the D7000 all those things for $700ish.

Right now I've got my TH900 with Mark Lawton doing his magic to the cups so maybe they will be kicked up a notch.  Should be back within a week or so.

I am a confessed Denon/Fostex sound signature lover.  All of them, from the D2000 to the TH600 and all in between the sound is just perfect to me.  I've spent the weekend listening to my D2000's and realizing how good they are.........
