I luv my D7000 to pieces. Thought I'd never ever sell 'em! Not listing them just yet, but economic circumstance may force mymad.gif hand. You could always send me a PM, if you're leaning...

Zeus re-cabled OCC 4x22 awg with xlr matching adapter (xlr>rca) for single or balanced drive.

Anybody know why these were discontinued in the first place? From what I've read the D7100s are a sad excuse for upgraded D7ks...

Something to do with Foster, the parent company, and Denon splitting.  The details are somewhere in this thread.

Foster was previously the OEM for the DxK line up, not the parent co. Semantics, I know. But yeah, the marketing agreement ended and from what I gather, Denon wanted to go their own way, though this is based on little more than internet conjecture. Of course Fostex has come out with their own flagship...

Same design right down to the fragile gimbals.

If it looks like a Denon, smells like a Denon, sounds like a Denon... it must be a Fostex.

Seems logical, and from the audition I had with the D600... there is definitely some truth to that statement.

I'd rather see Denon become Beats and make money.

Let's face it all major headphones companies have more or less become like Beats.
