Both the housing shape and drivers are different from the D5000. I don't see how that could be the case.

I've just met Denon France a couple of hours earlier and they told me that the D7000 were planned for October or November in France, for about 1000€. Apparently they have new drivers, more dynamic. And they have larger cups.

Yes we (IoZz & I) are in contact with the Marketing's director of Denon.
And he is in Paris and he was able to meet people's Denon this afternoon like he said.^^

a 1000 euros is pretty over the top, unless its like a special release or something, and even then they must sound really really good.

Probably is less expensive for Japan or USA and maybe it will be release before.
In France we have got a conversion rate wonderful like 1$=1€.
Example 1000€ for us it's 1000$ for you.
