I am looking for an entry level hi-end earphones. I found the above two and both are within my budget. Could anyone tell me what are the difference between these two earphones?

Actually I have the chance to test the two. It seems that UE3 performs better in detailedness while the SE110 has richer bass. It's hard to make the choice.

Some months ago, before the economy began to smell like a 3 day old corpse, the prices on UE products were a lot cheaper than they are right now. I keep seeing people remembering whatever price they managed to score them at as their cost, but it's not representative of their current prices. Heck, less than a year ago, you could get certain colors of SF5s on Amazon for $120, good luck with that now.

About $80 is as cheap as you can find SF3s right now from what I can tell, with the majority of places pricing them at about $100.
