Have you ever used a soldering iron? You can always build your own, lots of people do.

You should still be able to buy. If you click the name of the seller, you will see an option to send him a Private Message.

As for building an amp, there are lots of designs that have been thoroughly tested and gone through by DIY people. The popular DIY amps are picked over more than the commercial amps are. If there are any problems with a design, it will be put on a message board or two and people will find a fix. A lot more eyes look at the DIY designs, which is one reason I think they're better.

As for testing of a particular amp, you can do that yourself! You need some test equipment, but you can make sure for yourself that it works well and won't cause any problems.

most amp manufacturers ship worldwide as well, so buying new from web-retailers shouldnt be a problem.

did you get your amp already? i know a guy who makes good portable hp amps and is able to ship practically anywhere in the country i.e. Philippines
