Triple.Fi cable upgrade?

I recently ordered an APS ER4-P cable upgrade and it got me wondering if anyone makes after-market cables for the Triple.Fi 10 Pro (mine is actually an M-Audio IE-40). I like the way my IE-40s sound, but would like a little longer cable. Improved SQ would be a plus.

You can buy a Westone ES2 cable and modify it by trimming the pins to work on the TF10. I havn't done this, but I know people aorund Head-Fi have.

There are the elusive pure silver custom cables by the guy in China. These are really hard to come by. I think there is one part of a set on the FS forums right now.

Thanks for the info. A couple of questions. First, would the Westone ES2 cable be an upgrade in SQ? And, anyone know the name of the guy in China?
