Help me win!

The local newspaper (Rochester Democrat and Chronicle) is publishing a coffee table book of Rochester. The public submits images and vote to determine what images go in the book. So far, I have several photos that are doing very well. I would appreciate your votes! There are also cash prizes, including a grand prize of a $1000 Amazon gift card. (I could definitely have fun with that!)

How are you doing in the voting? (assuming the shot of our new bridge is yours??) Alas! I can't help you as my son is one of the entries...Thats him swimming the 500 at sectionals from earlier this year...so I'm voting for that shot.

Wouldn't you rather win because your photo(s) are the superior ones and not because you got your online buddies to vote for you a lot? Just curious..

That is a beautiful shot BTW, best of luck.

Just hoping for a little support. I know my work is good. That bridge shot was a week 2 Editor's pick, the top image three days in a row, and in the top 5 three other times. It's virtually guaranteed to be in the book. There is also credit for getting others to sign up and vote. I've had several other images also among the top 5 in three different chapters, as well as other weekly editors picks.

At the end of the day, the editors decide what goes in the book, but the number of votes can help determine if I win one of the cash prizes in each chapter, or the grand prize. And I'd love to win some cash, aside from the name recognition. It will help feed my gear addiction

Just figured I'd ask, no biggie.

Canon 20D. This was taken with the Canon 10-22 EF-S@10mm. Definitely one of my favorite lenses.
