RE2 vs. ER6i?

Hey guys, first post after reading for a long time.

Would you say getting the RE2s at the group buy price (80 bucks) is an upgrade from the ER6i, which I bought at $65? The only complaint I have about the ER6i is the lean bass. I really like their isolation, but it's not a must have.

IMO, it is an upgrade.

RE2's bass isn't particularly strong (about the same as Ety), but the mid and treble are a lot more fun and lively. Overall SQ are close to that of an amped iM716 (unmoded) which is a class over ER6i.

Try your ER6is with Shure black foamie tips before you pass final judgement on the bass response.
