bought this brand new directly from apple in February of 2008 (its only a few months old!). I'm pretty anal about keeping my gear in good shape, and as such, I immediately (before even touching it without the protective plastic on) put a full body InvisiShield (shieldzone.com) on the ipod touch. It covers both the back surface, sides, and touch screen, and you cannot even really notice there is a protective covering on at all. its completely clear and less than 1mm thick, however it is extremely scratch and wear resistant - by FAR the best protectors ive used on ipods and cell phones. I don't THINK i have a hard copy of the original receipt, although I do have a copy on my computer that I can email you for warranty purposes etc. I still have the original box and I BELIEVE all of the original accessories. the ONE thing I might be missing is the ipod earbuds - sorry if you were actually planning to use them, but i figure the odds of that are low here on head fi anyways haha.
I dont have pics at the moment, if you REALLY want some I can send some but its a bit of a hassle. Honestly the ipod touch is in very good condition, no blemishes or scratches worth mentioning. conservative 9/10 I'd say. In terms of price, I'm not sure what past ones have sold for, there are a couple of 16GB ones up for sale for $280/290 shipped, at this point I'm hopefully looking to sold (within Canada, add a bit for US) I'm located in Canada but will ship to the USA at buyers expense.
