It is my old refrigerator (now in the garage) with a door kegerator conversion kit and CO2 tank form Micro Matic.

Kegerator Conversion Kit (Door Kit, Less Cylinder)

It comes with the D-type keg-coupler for domestic beers. I like Belgian Ales and some use the D-type coupler and some use the A-type coupler. There is a listing on Micro Matic's website that matches the brand of beer to the coupler type.

The keg is a 20 liter of St. Bernardus Abt (Abbott) 12, a Belgian Brown Ale. I've had Val Deiu Triple, Trois Pistoles, Maudite, St. Bernardus Triple. All good stuff. I love beer.

We have a local store here in Clearwater, FL that specializes in international and microbrew beers called The World of Beer--it's right across the street from the original Hooters. Most towns have a store like The World of Beer.

Interesting. You got me thinking and I am doing some math now to see if it would be cost efficient. Would I need to have the co2 inside the fridge?

What was consumed last night. Some tasty, tasty beer and cider.

Hmmm, cup of tea this morning.
Last night a couple of glasses of champagne, some Strongbow, and a can of Caffereys...was alright, bit weak.

Coffee sounds good. I think I'll have some.

It does work out to be more cost effective after a couple of kegs. You and your buddies end up drinking more beer though. I didn't even bother trying to use economics to convince my wife. I told her that I wanted it because the beer tastes better and it's cool. In other words, the truth.

The CO2 tank doesn't need to be in the fridge. I keep mine there though. You can get it filled at a local welding supply shop. I'm still on my first tank and on my fifth or sixth keg. I think it was around $20 to fill. I can't remember. See the article below.

CO2 Tank Inside Kegerator

H2O for the after-effects of partying the whole last night.
