Westone UM2 or Triple Fi 10

As you all can see this is my first post, I've been reading/looking around for ear phones and headphones for the last 2 weeks, there is so many types of head/earphone and for different types of music.

I ask that you all help me to make a decision to buy a headphone and an earphone.

For earphone is westone UM2 fits better than Triple Fi 10? I wanted an earphone mainly for running/working out, so I need one that will not move anywhere, I have somewhat of a small ear canals. And I listen to house/techno/trance music when I workout.

For headphone I listen to both classical and techno/house which is two completely different types of music, that I would figure I'd need two different headphone. I have the option of
Sennheiser HD650, Grado SR2 or maybe Denon D5000? I currently do not own any amp.

I also would like to use my headphone for guitar and DJing. I can spare around $800-1000 total for 1 earphone and 1 headphone.

PS: If there is better options than the names listed above please recommend.

Any help in recommending these goodies is greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

I have no exp of UM2 but have and love Triple.Fi. Honestly, I'd be very leery of using a high-end IEM for running or working out (I'm a mountain biker/roadie and I wouldn't take Trips out on the bike.) All that sweat, for one thing...man, I'd drown my drivers.

While TFP is a much better sounding IEM I could not endorse it for use while running. UM2 is pretty pricey and for just a little more money SE530 sounds quite a bit better and has just as nice a fit.

I say just buy the KSC75 for exercising/working out, save the expensive 'phones for more leisurely and less hectic moments.

most IEMs will move if you do vigorous movements. and stevie's right. i wouldn't use IEMs for working out, you'll just get alot of sweat clogged in and it'll feel uncomfortable for you. get some ksc or senn omx 70. or pmx70 if you like headbands, but don't get IEMs.

I found sweat to be a far bigger problem working out with Porta Pros and KSC35's than any IEM I have ever used. They'd only last a couple months before needing replacement. Sweat is harmless to IEM's unless there is constant insertion and removal while working out encouraging sweat to actually go into the barrels.

i have worn my triples and a pair of senny 480's to the gym and the senny's were soaked in sweat the triples were ok tho
