Clean and fast and punchy that's the sound I prefer. Rather than a "live feeling" and even worse "the famous analogue". The Pico has a "better dac", though I've learned that It's not the dac itself but the the application of it that matters. Btw my Porta has a pmc 2704.

Thanks for the info, everytime I think about just ordering the Predator I hear the same thing over and over about the Pico and decide to wait. I must say it is tough waiting considering I don't have a amp yet, at least with my Grado's the sound is still top notch.

Which Porta Corda version? I owned a PC MkIII with the USB DAC. It is a very good sounding amp as is the DAC. I compared it to my Pico w/ DAC and decided to sell the PC. I do miss the great crossfeed.

The Pico is in a class above the PC in every way (imo).
