Santana on MFSL CD & LP

I absolutely didn't know MFSL recently released the first two Santana albums on CD and Vinyl...

Santana (self-titled) CD
Santana (self-titled) LP

Abraxas CD
Abraxas LP

Amazing!!! Now I'm stuck deciding on the LP vs CD versions

Actually, there are now two versions of Abraxas in MFSL; the most recent one, although I don't own possession of it (I had the first version, and that's how I found out Santana doesn't suit my current taste in music), my sources told me that it has less bass than the first edition, which is a plus in my book, because the bass in the first edition of Abraxas was rather bloated and tended to overwhelm some of the minds.

I have the CD of the self titled and I can say that it sounds great. I also have the original LP, and they compare quite favourably.

I am still undecided on whether I should get the current release of Abraxas. Not sure how much better it is compared to the previous MFSL release. I wouldve jumped at it had it been SACD, but since its just another regular release, I might say pass.

Get both/all, if it's your favourite music.
