If your giving out free money...

If one were to spend thousands of dollars, then would it not be more useful to buy a hyper capacitor power supply, then wire the amp or whatever it is directly, rather than using an onboard AC->DC? Electronically, a hyper power supply with high value R*C would make any "dirty" power nice and flat.

$3,000 would deliver the maximum benefit in your savings account. Or maybe a no load index fund.

$5 on Q-tips, and $2995 on music...

I'm going to have to agree with the above, since no amount of money will deliver any bang when it's put into power cords.

The one in the pic above says "AUDIO GRADE" and has a little blue star. I'm this close to whipping out my wallet.

It'd sound *way* better if it said AUDIOPHILE GRADE.

...or if it was in a garden hose.

The Furman... Dirty power over a great cable is still dirty (even with passive filtering).

But if I had $3k, I'd ignore that and get a Benchmark DAC1 and a used set of Dynaudio BM15A monitors.
