Digital coax cable

Thread Starter
I am a bit confused as to what kind of cables can be used for rca digital out connections.

I won this cable on ebay for only 99cents and was wondering if it would make a suitable digital out cable.
Monster Cable -- InterlinkĀ® 250 Audio Interconnect with Precision Machined RCA Connectors

This cable will connect a Zero DAC to an M-audio revolution.

If this cable is no good, what do you guys think of the digital coax cables from Blue Jeans Cable?

Thanks

Should be fine. You'd need pretty expensive headphones to notice the difference between cables.

Agreed with Currawong, it should be fine, but I'll highly recommend the BJC 1694A interconnect. The connectors they use are closer to the 75-ohm specification, which matters for both digital and analog audio transmission.

It will most likely work, however, it is not a 75 ohm coax cable. It is a two conductor twisted pair of unknown impedance. (Digital audio is usually sent over a 75 ohm coax cable.)

If you have problems, you may need to change cable.

One possibility-
