Amp for low impedance headphones (need more current??)...

These are the cans I've got:
KSC75, MDR-V6, AD700, D2000, PROline 2500

These are the cans I want:
MS1
&
PK2
&
upgraded AD700 --> AD900, AD2000, K701, STAX
&
upgraded D2000 --> D5000
&
Darth Beyer

I'm definitely starting to get greedier the longer I hang out around this place, but I really hope my desire for cans doesn't change too much.

Either way, the majority of these cans are low impedance, so they need more current, right?? The only DAC/amps I'm considering right now are the Corda 2Move & D2 Boa. Would these amps be able to handle all of these headphones, including the Darths??

X-CAN v8...

The X-CAN v8 is exceptional with low impedance phones - the D5000s specifically. It also drives high impedance phones well.

And... it's a bargain.

Normal headphone amps are not able to drive STAX earspeakers. You will have to buy a special amp just for them or buy an adapter to hook up to a speaker amp.

i'm curious whether the ability to drive low impedance headphones "well" is a purely subjective judgement or not.
some amps will specify their output current, but do headphones like Grados use actual numbers to determine the amount of current needed for them?
I'd like to know how much current (mA) a 32 Ohm headphone needs to thrive, and beyond that, what would be considered overkill.

is there an objective way to measure this?
