I use a Grado sr80 and a Pa2v2 (I thank Luckyleo for giving me this a couple months ago) My source is a iaudio 7

My settings
Equalizer: 09, 08, 06, 08, 09
BBE: 1
Mach3Bass: 2
Mp: on
Advanced EQ filter setting: All bands at highest Frequency and Narrow Bandwidth

So I'm asking headfi'ers is this a bad setting? if so what setting do/would you use for my Setup?

Edit: Made the subject a tad more interesting due to no replies :P

I use my iAudio 7 with ER4P/S and ER6 mostly. With ER4 I don't change from flat EQ but use BBE 1 and Mach3Bass @ 5 or 6. With ER6 I boost the highest EQ band to 3 with same BBE & M3B.

It's great having 10 presets to play with.

I mainly use the line out of an iAudio X5L so there are no sound enhancements available. When plugged into the headphone jack, I usually will raise the bass, the treble a bit and use a small amount of MP3 Enhance.

FWIW, iAudio U3 with PK3 earbuds:

Equalizer: 09, 06, 03, 06, 09
BBE: 6
Mach3Bass: 7
MP Enhance: off
3D Surrond: 0
Pan: 0

iAudio7 with Denon c700

BBE 1, all other effects 0, EQ flat

Listen to a wide variety of music, mostly on shuffle. I find this setting gives me best balance, although some of the recordings can be improved with Jeteffect settings and EQ tweaks.
