Help: No headphone input on TV. What do I need?

Well just recently purchased some Sennheiser HD 595's for gaming...selecting what I've been told is one of the best. I had Turtle Beach Ear Force x1's and they worked for a few days, then crapped out, but it came with an adapter that went from the Red, White audio cables to a headphone input.

Now the TV I have doesn't have a headphone input anywhere on it and there is no audio options in the menu. I also haven't received the headphones yet, but they should be arriving in a couple of days.

Here's my question. What do I need to make it so I can get excellent audio out of these headphones with my setup??

Thanks

Do you have Red/White audio output jacks on your TV? Are those the jacks you used for your Turtle Beach? Can't you plug the headphones into the adapter that came with those?

Ideally, if you really want the best audio, you should plug your headphones into a headphone amp, and plug the headphone amp into your source, wether it be a gaming machine or your computer.

How much are you willing to spend?

Entry level amps like the Cute Beyond is a good starter unit for $170

I would suggest connecting the amp directly to your source unit (CD player, game console or computer) for best quality, and not use your TV jacks when using the headphones
