i paid 117p for a litre of petrol
its about 127p for diesel

almost 4 litres in a gallon, almost $2 for £1

so getting on for $9USD per gallon

pfft, stop whining US residents

Agreed, stop whining.

In Sweden we pay 14 Swedish kronor for a litre, that's like $9 a gallon. I have started taking the bus or riding my bike more often.

We (who live in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, ..) pay 2-3 times what you (who live in the US) do for gasoline. Stop wining, and let us do that part!

$0.59/gallon was the lowest I've ever seen when I was a kid.

I remember it was such a big shock to see gas being over $1.00/gallon.

As soon as taking a bus or biking becomes a viable option in most of the US, you Europeans can have all the whining rights you want. Until then I think we win :P

Diesel #2 costs $5.05/US gallon

I saw yesterday around the Berkeley/Oakland area that the price of Diesel #2
reached $5.05/US gallon.
