you suck I was looking forward to having a pint with you at the Brickskeller. Oh well there is always the potential for a Raliegh trip some time in the future. I have the best minds here at Headfi working on my itinerary, I have a horrid 745 am flight out of JFK on Sunday am

to any of the locals how far a drive is it to the Brickskeller or Brasserie Beck in DC both are world class beer bars and no trip to DC would be complete with a stop to at least one of them. The Brick is more a dark dank drinking bar while B Beck is more upscale bright with great food.

dogfish head is more convenient to the meet site, downtown dc is about 20 minutes. There's also one other huge beer list bar, down by the verizonn center.

I'll be renting a car, so will volunteer my sober driving skills as long as there is a semi-sober navigator in the car.

It's RFD and it's owned by Brickskellar. I'm lucky where I live in Arlington. Our local pizza place less than 1/4 mile away, has 300 beers. The small grocery store across the street from it has 400 beers.

Ok, this is starting to look crowded. I'll ask around again for conference rooms and see what kind of deals I can find. Financial help with the meet room would be appreciated

I was going to ask about this. I don't think some type of required donation is out of order but I'm sure that people would chip in. Including myself of course.

Work has been going absolutely nuts so I'm not 100% but I will try my best.

I will pitch in.

Okay, I now can definitely make it.

Hope its alright if I bring my dad along, as he's interested in demoing some gear, and the fact that I don't currently have a driver's license.

Looking forward to the 2nd.

certainly your dad is welcome as well. Even some of our vendors have been known to bring parents.

I'm in as well. I want to bond with the Florida folk. I miss my home state!

I'll bring my uncased Millet Hybrid Max, Mini3, modded SR 325i's and my partially populated B24 boards (if anyone's interested...right now they're little more than expensive paper weights).

Still looking for a ride from DC. I live at Vermont and T. Of course, I'll throw down for gas.
