I tried my hand at soldering seriously. Gotta say it's easier than I thoguht it was. So it'll cost 50$ with all of the parts, including the items frwom tweaks?>

I would highly recommend that the OP follow all of the steps as outlined on Tangent's website (if that is the CMoy you are going to build), TO THE LETTER. If you do not read all the material presented there or waver from his accurate instructions, you may come up with something that does not work or is riddled with problems.

The list link, for you to edit if I missed something.
Those are the parts I ordered, and it's double of the normal list. Spare parts, and hoping to build one for my girl friend as a hand made gift.
The only things I'm missing is the Radioshack board, the tins, and the (rechargeable)batteries. Do you guys know how much that'll add on to the total? I'm going with just priority mail, I'm not sure about the weight and dimensions of the box yet. To 96817 zipcode.
EDIT: I forgot to ask, am I suppose to go out and buy spools of red and black wires?
I've secured a soldering iron, solder, solder plunger, helping hands, and a hole puncher. Is there anything else that I left out like the red and black wires?

I just wen tout and bought a tin of Altoids, and a tins of Sqyntz!. And a nine volt recharable battery, but I never thought about this, how do I charge it?

If it's a rechargeable, then you'll need a 9V Battery Charger. They should sell them at the same place that you bought the battery from.

Where is 1K resistors (R3 at the cmoy schematic) for feedback loop?
You better buy some cheap multimeters, to check resistor's resistance value, than try to figure out from looking at the color codes. This will greatly minimize the chance of putting the wrong resistors.
It's good also to buy extra 4.7K ohm resistors (about 10 pcs or more) since its cheap, and do resistors matching with multimeters. Put this matched resistors at R1 position, to minimize +- voltage imbalance.

Even though I've done the DIY thing quite a bit, I still prefer kits over sourcing my own parts, because most of the time you have to buy things from two or more sources, and the crazier the amps get the more places it seems you have to hit up for parts! One shipping charge is a lot better than lots of shipping charges. When I have the necessary setup I'll be utilizing Glass Jar to get the parts for my planned beta-22 build.

Once, I finish this build, I want to try the beta-22 build, I've read soem great reiviews about itand seeing hwo it can power almost anything, 701 in my case, I want to try it. BUt I have to first figure out what are the different types of beta22s and what they are for.
So far I've acquired for the cmoy:
-2 tins (altonds, squyntz)
-9 volt battery
-hole puncher, singe (are there different sizes?)
-soldering iron
-all of the other soldering materials
All I have to do is run to Radioshack get the board, and send in the order to Digi-key.

See Tweaks
470uf caps are almost universally recommended instead of the 220uf caps you have listed. Likewise, 0.47uf input caps over the 0.1uf caps.
Per a previous poster, you are missing the 1K resistors for R3. That said, the stock gain of 11 is really loud. If your phones are sensitive, it will be too loud. If IEMs, it will be unusable. I would suggest adding 2.21K resistors, which will get a gain of 5.5 (1 + 10k/2.21k). The added 4.75k resistors mentioned by another poster could also be useful here (gain ~3). I would still order some 1K as they are cheap and sometimes useful.
The IC socket you listed (AE10034-ND) while good, is quite expensive. I use the Aries sockets (A400-ND) which are around $.59 vs. $1.44 for the Assman you listed. Millmax is good as well.
The switches (360-1788) you list, while good, are also expensive. You might see what you can dig up at ratshack before you order.
EDIT: for caps, I would recommend Panasonic FM P12388-ND, and 495-1111-ND or 495-1118-ND for input caps. The input caps are metalized polyester vs. the polypropylene you have listed. As a material the polypropylene is better.

Alright, I started buying the parts, so far I've got:
9v battery
soldering iron
and maybe some tins form a donation.
But when I went to the store to look for some solder, I ran into a problem. For some reason the only types of solder they sell are "lead free".
Is there anyone out htere willing to donate some solder wiht lead in them? Or know where in Hawaii I can get solder with lead in them?
BTW when I said "solder materials" I was thinking, flux and sponge. OH BTW I found flux in a bottle. GO figure.

The CMoy is a fun little build. I agree with the satisfaction that comes from the first time that you click it on and hear music, it makes all of the effort worthwhile.
My CMoy has the OPA2227P opamp, 470uf power caps, and TLE2426 rail-splitter. It is running 18v (2x 9v). I love it, it has treated me well. Plus, its fun when someone asks what it is, and I can pop the tin open to show them whats inside. Then when the ask "Where'd you get it?" I can say "Oh, I made it." And like the others have said, it will get you hooked. I am close to getting a pair of DT880s, and then I will build a Millett MAX hybrid. I can't wait.
