I wonder where I could get an adaptor from Sennheiser to Stax, as I am not really keen to recable with a Stax cable or reterminate. Anybody who offers these? I recently aquired a SRM-1 MK2 and would like to give that a try. I had one of these with a Lamda Pro Signature years ago before I switched to the Sennheiser.
There are no adapters to be had AFAIK. You can make one if you are handy at DIY from discarded computer items and it's not hard. Just be sure to insulate everything properly.

Recabling does NOT void the Koss ESP-950 warranty whatsoever.  I recently sent a pair back for service WITHOUT any cable (as I wanted to be sure to keep

the Stax 404 cable used to recable the 950's).  Koss generally just sends you a brand new pair of ESP-950's and rarely 'services' the original pair sent in.

An outstanding no-questions-asked lifetime warranty.

So I ended up getting a brand new pair of ESP-950's and was able to retain my pricey Stax cable - it doesn't get any better than this. bigsmile_face.gif
