I am selling my Channel Islands Audio VDA-2 DAC and VAC-1 power supply, I bought off gtortorella 3 weeks ago. The VDA-2 and VAC-1 are sold only by Music Direct and by direct purchase through CI Audio, and thus they are rather hard to find (either new or used). This was bought from Music Direct on 1/15/08. One thing I must mention is the toggle switch on the front which switches from 0 degrees to 180 degrees inversion (something I never used or would use) is loose. If played with enough it will switch from side to side. I expect it to be simple repair if one used it.
I disclose all in fairness to buyer and to continue my impeccable references. I do not have much feedback on HeadFi, but I have over 10 1/2 years on Ebay under carmantom. About 350 feedbacks all perfect. I also have feedback on Audiogon carmantom 5-6 years, loads of it, perfect as well. You can buy with confidence.
I paid SOLD for both the DAC and power supply 3weeks ago and will discount $50 for the toggle switch(I'm thinking some one could easily open unit and tighten nut on end of switch). It won't get much better than this. These sell for $800 combined and here's a chance to own it delivered for SOLD to your door. Do not ask for better deal. I am FIRM.
