Again, sorry if the OP has just been having a busy few weeks; I'm just a little curious.
Sorry I have been busy and I usually go through PM's on the weekend in replying (I get A LOT of pm's).

Anyhow, the headphones are shipping tomorrow morning for the first round I'll have a sequential list posted this weekend once I get all this stuff off my plate and M0T0XGUY, sorry I had thought I replied to your first PM. Anyhow you are on the list.

Cheers.

No worries, man. I knew you had a busy schedule - I was just making sure I wasn't mis-sending my PM's; as I've done this many a time. Anyhow, thanks for the addition; I'm definitly looking forward to giving the GS-1000's some formal demoing.

Sweet...anxious to see how this turns out!!!!

Excellent idea to get people to contribute.

How great it would be if the headphone companies, like AKG, Sennheiser, BeyerDynamic etc. donates a couple of their cans to this loanprogramme.
I guess they benefit a lot from Head-Fi, with all those potential buyers. So in return......

Have they been shipped? I didn't mean that in an a-hole way, I meant that in a very anxious way

Hey folks, sorry about the delays. Life rolls in sometimes and throws plans out the windows. Anyhow, the phones are shipping tonight and the first two people will see them this weekend. I'll put up the list tonight and then as people start posting their impressions we'll see more people wanting on the list which will keep things going. If all goes well over the summer, by the fall I'll have introduced a couple of phones tot he European market and I'll also try to get some phones from other companies but for now, my plans are to get some to Europe and also introduce the RS-1's to North America.

The list is up. So far there is quite a bit of interest for the GS-1000's but not so much for the SR60's. I really hope the SR-60's won't get forgotten! They are a killer headphone and a great entry into this hobby.

Please remember that even if one is on the list, this is tentative. I need the contact info of everyone on there:

Name
REAL HOME ADDRESS
HOME PHONE NUMBER

Shipping address must be the home address, no exceptions.

warrior05 and Nugwin should see the phones shortly if they don't already have them. They get them for 2 weeks and then on to the next round of guys.

Please spread the word about this thread. Folks may not see it and pass it by. Momentum is key here and the more popular it gets the more willing manufacturers would be in loaning and or sending us phones to try out. Again, my hope is that eventually we can get a full set of headphones from every manufacturer to circulate the globe so that people unable to head to meets and/or borrow among their friends, can have a taste of what is out there. I know that personally, had I not had this opportunity from my friends, I'd continually be wondering about headphone A B and C. As it is, I'm still hoping to hear in my life-time the K1000's, HE90's, Qualias and markl modded Denon.

This is a great program. I'm not sure if I want to sign up yet. I'm not sure if I really want to hear GS1000s. I might want to buy them. I don't think my wife would like that.

Great to see you are up and running with this, Hope it all goes great.

Looking forward to the European leg

Oh so this program is now underway
Congrats to the first two recipients. I hope you both enjoy your wonderful headphone.

Don't mind me though. My only interest in Grado line-up is the PS-1

Im debating about participating in the sr-60 loan program but I am not sure if the price of shipping is worth it to try them and the hassle of taking all the pictures of the condition. Maybe if I had a better amp I would consider the GS1000 in the future. If this continues to expand I will be back if some senns or AKGs show up.

Maybe nugwins review will change my impressions on them and I may participate.

Once again props to you Zanth for attempting this and it would be nice to see it flourish.

I believe I was one of the first few to sign up, I think....any updates? I'm in no rush, but I also haven't heard of anything from the other guys with their impressions.

Definitely a cool program!

Looks like you're about halfway down the list right now... Zanth posted it in the first post. So, at the best, you'll get it in a month or two... I'll get it awhile after that..
