SIGN UP! Zanth's Headphone Loan Programme - Page 14

I am just gonna hop in and say while I have been out of the "scene" for a few months on Head-Fi it is nice to see this still going on. Maybe in another year if it is still running strong there will be some headphones that spark my interest and I will have some nicer ones of my own to compare them with (May get AD700 and ER6i down the road)

Props to Zanth and all the Donors and best of luck on your jobs Zanth. I would try the SR60s but the problem is I struggle with paying 1/3ish of the price to just give them a try. Maybe when some more mid range headphones show up (Right now it seems to be SR60 and really high range (out of budget) ) I will throw my consideration this way

Outstanding!

If that is the case, I'd like to switch my position for RS1/RS2 with the next person in line, since I'll be busy with exam, paper and etc....until mid Aug, thanks

Why, are you planning on intercepting the packages so you can complain about the build quality?

I'd like to get in on the RS-1/2 program, sent a PM.

Things have been moved around in my schedule which will have me off-line until the second week of August but at that time I'll have a website up for auto-applying for the program as well as an updated list of who is in the queue etc.

I'm sad that I've only recently joined,

Really great program, and admirable that the donor(s) and the moderator are willing to put so much time and resources into it. One complaint/observation - when I first joined, I noticed in a Sticky posting that a moderator type said don't post just to post, although he knew that people do so. So I have tried to post when helpful, not just to be chatty, ignoring the enticement to post like crazy that the naming convention("jr" "100+" "500+") promotes. And so while I understand that you only want to loan to active members, I wonder if longevity should be emphasized and number of posts per month de-emphasized. When I post on Head-Fi, I am looking for substantive help/comments, not just posting by people looking to up their post count. As a community, sometimes less is more.

Cool! Are you updating the list on the main page? I don't see my name on it or who is currently getting the phones. This will be a great reason to come indoors and out of the heat.
