Hi!

First of all sorry for my very bad English!!!
I Want to buy a good in-ear earphones and i want to know wich model are the best for my budget (100 $ max). I'm looking for earphones that have excellent performanche in treable especially voices. I know that whit a low budget it's very difficult to find a god quality but i'm looking for the best product for my budget and not in absolute. Do you think that the Sennheiser CX 300 or CX 400 can be a good choice? thank a lot

Ah I would get a pair of UM1 or ER6i for that price. Both are very nice for vocals. The ER6i has just a tad more emphasis in the upper midrange and isn't as balanced in the bass regions. Both make short work of the CX300. I haven't heard the CX400.

Thanks a lot for the answer. the etymotic er6i have also a good bass section? what i want to know is if this model is goog only in treable ad voices or they're well balanced. I don't know the model suggested by milkpowder. whichever brand are the model that you suggested me? thank you again.

The Etymotic ER6i has a rather weak bass. I find it acceptable, but for many it will be insufficient. The Westone UM1 has more bass, but is still rather polite in that respect. The UM1 is more balanced than the Etymotic ER6i.

Now I use the original earphones of the iPod and i think that the bass are a little insufficient. Said that do you think that i can remain
satisfied about the Etymotic ER6i bass? in treable and voices this earphones are really excellent? can they reproduce a really clear voices? thanks

If you are considering ER6i, than RE2 will be a better choice (check out the review in my signature).

x2 on the RE2 if you need more Bass. The Ety sure is kind of anaemic.

the denon c551 are quite sweet as well as kenwood c711 which both are about 100$ or less. the victor hp-fx300 are good but a bit more bouncy that the other two.

I read many reviews about the Head-Direct RE2 and and it seems to me that this earphones are good for bass and midrange but I don't find any comments about the treable and especially voices. I read thath this earphones are perfect for rock. how about the treable and voices of this RE2? thanks

Most vocals are in the midrange bracket. So the RE2s should be fine.

Everyone's ears are different, but I personally am very happy with the Kenwood K711s I got in Tokyo after listening to all the models in the store. They suit the iPod Touch very well, I think. Better than the Sony or Sennheisers I had before.

At your price range, you will be giving up something, extension, clarity, refinement...

I second the ER6is, if you fit the flanges well, I think the bass is fine, certainly it is not bloated.

If you want full bass and treble extension, and a great sound, IMO you will have to spend more.

I currently use the Klipsch Image with my Touch when traveling with my wife, they are a lot easier to remove and insert than the custom IEMs.
