Help: ATH-ANC7 Replacement Cable

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement cable for the ATH-ANC7? The original one is not working anymore (and the problem is definitely in the cable - wires are showing where it connects to the plug). I don't want to have to get an expensive (but nice) recable...

btw it is detachable.

I actually lost my cable and had to shave some plastic off a regular male to male 3.5mm cable to get it to fit. Ugly, but it works.

Does anyone know where to buy the official cable? I've searched pretty much everywhere but can't find it.

Hi

 

A very old thread but I just got the cable for the Headphones Beats by dr dre from monster and it fits very good.

Might be a bit easier to find than for example the Cardas cable which is also supposed to fit.
