Differences btw 2008 & pre 2008 Ultrasones..?

Hi,

I recently got a Ultrasone HFi-2200ULE. Even out-of-the-box, I liked the presentation. After 60 hours of burn-in the sound coming from these guys is amazing. I am planning to purchase the Pro2500's very soon.

I belive my 2200's are pre-2008, since they do not have the new shiny metal name plates. So before purchasing the 2500's, I wanted to ask you guys what the differences were between the 2008 and pre-2008 models. According to the answers, I can make a better decision on buying the 2500's (maybe I can buy them used or trade with the fellow member if they are the same.)

Is it just the name plate or have the headband/pads also seen modifications? As far as I know the internals are the same.

Can the experts on Ultrasones please help me out.

Ultrasone says they have "new, thicker earpads" too.

OK... so, for $175 you get a headband that's hopefully not going to crack, thicker earpads, & a warranty.

I think I'll go for the B-stock.
