Not a chance. They might not isolate very well but no leakage as with all iem I would think. Dont forget how very small the drivers are.

They come in the same box with all the same acc. and look the very same so I would think they are real and the member who got them said they sounded good at a quick listen. Look we need a compairison to the sf5pro so you have to buy them. LOL

Lol. I guess I'll guinea pig and do come comparing with my Sf5pros.

Amped or unamped? My source will be a 2nd gen touch, iRiver H332, 1st gen nano and sansa clip.

Well, the member who posted those pics is new after all.....

I was reading the soundmagic blog/various forums and they are reporting that soundmagic and beyerdynamic have signed a partnership...

Can anyone confirm this as my reading is poor.

Hey LTUCCI1924,

I see in your sig that you fate moded your PL30s, what does that mean? have searched for threads concerned with fate moding and haven't found anything. How does one "fate mode" their PL30s?

I think fate mod means the bass knob is removed.

It seems that SoundMagic has indeed becomes BeyerDynamic's supplier, as they announced on their official blog (in Chinese). Quite an achievement by such a small company.

My bass nobs fell off so I called this the fate mod. Then after listening to the Pl-30 with the nobs off I noticed the Pl-30 was louder and had a bigger sound stage plus had more bass. I also have the Pl-30 with the nobs on and like the Pl-30 without the nobs way better. So if you would like to hear what it sounds like just take off the bass nobs.

Agree, they sound way much better than anything at this price level should or, at the moment can sound like, find the foams suits your ear and it`s a bargain. The standard one`s that come with box are made of rubber and pure crab..
