Denon D1001, D2000, D5000 graphs up on Headroom

Hmm strange, the D2000 isnt as close to the D5000 as everyone suggests. Apart from its sub-bass its closer to the D1001 :S

I compared my D5000 and D2000 many times, and the results match the graph right on target with what I hear.

my interpretation of the graph (Note: I have heard both, but have never compared them before)

the D2000 (relative to the D5000) has comparable bass, a more prominent midbass, slightly recessed midrange, comparable upper midrange, and less rolled off upper treble. This is just speculation - to those who have a/b'ed the headphones, please let me know if my guess is correct.
