Question about the G jumbo bowls: is the inner diameter of the pads (where they slip onto the cups) the same size as the standard L bowls?

Ahh, I remember the distancer and comfies combo. Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep bass. lol.

I was thinking about that combo. Might have to give it a go, just for curiosity.

Edit: Just tried it then. DO NOT WANT!

It's nothing compared to the jumbo pads, but the comfies and distancer give such deep bass response its fun to listen to. lol

Completely agree, and I only listened to them for a few minutes, but got the feeling the bass was really muddy.

Mmm, it could get boomy and muddy, but when I used this combo while waiting for my jumbos, I was listening to a lot of live recordings, concerts and sessions, and it never seem too muddy or boomy in my experience.

Listening to studio recordings reminds me of my Bose QC2, only less congested.

Finished my woody mod yesterday. Despite a few blemishes I'm really happy with it.

See it here

Can the ms1i be modded? Jmoney audio's page (JMoney Audio - Wood Mods) does not include the ms1i in its list of compatible heaphones.

The diameter of the cup of the MS-1 with the MS-1i should be the same, only the cup design (width) is different. If JMoney list the other Grado SR-[X]i models, they should be compatible. You should shoot Jeremy an email just in case
