For good noise-cancelling, try the ANC-7. Most NC headphones sounds crap. But the ANC7 is worth giving it a try.

I have the ANC7 and they are great N/C cans. They sound better than most regular phones I've heard. Only problem is they leak sound like crazy.

Regarding the ES7s, I have them and I was surprised when I got them that they look even better in person than in pictures. The polished cups are really slick and fit and finish is top notch. They fold flat too. Excellent portable phones if you can get used to the sometimes uncomfortable fit. Great bass and treble detail too.

headband mod + blu tak-ing the pads really helps the comfort.
