10,000 miles is nothing->Small head-fi world

It is truly a small world. Everyone is coming to CanJam '08

During my trip to SE Asia, I stopped into visit a store that deals exclusively with headphones and headphone amps (Jaben's in Singapore). After acquiring a Go-Vibe DAC, I discovered that "Uncle Wilson" of Jaben will be attending Can Jam '08 in my hometown of Fort Lauderdale! Uncle Wilson, I want to welcome you to Fort Lauderdale!!! See you at the meet.

PS I almost missed my plane while trying out equipment. However, I did try a new amp with a variable bass boost.

PPS I think "Uncle Wilson" is representing Crossroads IEMs at the meet.

... and Uncle Wilson wasn't the only one from 10,000 miles away. I was there (the guy with the sunglasses indoors) and I live in Sydney, Australia.

Hats off to Uncle Wilson though! I had to be in Ft Lauderdale for work already, so I didn't make the trip just for CanJam (although I was very happy it was on at just the right time).
