Northern Lights and Sound has six pairs of Ultrasone Edition9s coming in next month which they will be selling for 1085. This the last batch of Edition9s being shipped by Ultrasone.

How do you know this is the last batch?

I am glad to see NL&S is shipping the UE9's again. They have offered the best pricing on the UE9's but had stopped shipping them for some time.

Utrasone has always said they would make 1111 units. I don't know why the 1111 number but I know of 1011, which leaves 100 units left world wide. A shipment has just come in to the US from Ultrasone and they are being sent out. That cost must be near wholesale.

Based on what I've read you're the only person they've ever said this to, right?

I recall reading in the other thread that they would continue production as long as there were buyers and that they were not limited production.

Correction... NLS has 6 in stock now selling at that price, and will receive 6 more in a month selling at the same price. After that Ultrasone will disperse the remaining edition 9s over an unlimited time span. These are limited run. While I don't know of Jamoto's statement is true I do know for sure that there aren't many more of these headphones left.

The information I got came from Ultrasone Germany and has been mentioned by others including Ultrasone US.

Does Northern Lights and Sounds have a website and do they ship to Europe?

If the Edition 9 truly is limited I got to get a few more. Finest headphone I've ever heard and I think they will jump in price quite a bit in a few years (if this is indeed true that it's limited).

If you have ED9's you can rwad the book they come with, from Ultrasone, under the internal foam in the box, that says they are not limited edition. Not sure if they are lying in their packaging.
Cheated! no book in mine under the foam. I have been told by Ultrasone US, over and over that Ultrasone Germany has stated to them very, very clearly that they are limited. Hell, life is limited so what does it really matter anyway.

I still see it as $1799 on their site even after updating the cart like they said to see their "special pricing". Am I doing something wrong?
I heard there was a price increase, wow 1799. I think they are still 1500 on the Ultrasone Germany site or is it the US Ultrasone? Anyway maybe you need to call them or email them.

I sure hope those HE60's on the way to me are worth my having given up my spare pair of Edition 9's... With only one pair now, I am afraid to touch them or play with them, I hear them calling, Larrrryyyyyy... listen to me... and I worry about the fingerprints I'll leave on them...
